Key Features of Krea 2

Krea designed its first foundation model so style counts as much as subject, and the Krea 2 AI image generator keeps your chosen medium, texture and palette consistent from edge to edge.

From Film Grain to Ink

From Film Grain to Ink

Call out the medium and the decade, like 1990s cel animation, a risograph print or macro photography, and Krea 2 commits to that look. The surface follows, from brushstrokes and stippling to paper grain and film grain.

Loose Prompts, Wide Spread

Loose Prompts, Wide Spread

Begin with a loose idea such as a cat riding a bicycle, and Krea 2 fans it out across photography, illustration and 3D. Add a hint like retro cartoon illustration, and the next batch tightens toward that look while keeping some range.

Skin, Light and Grain Like a Photo

Skin, Light and Grain Like a Photo

Describe the lens, the light and the finish, for instance a macro lens, warm side light and film grain. Pores, flyaway hairs and shallow focus survive tight crops, ready for beauty, editorial and artist portrait work.

Quoted Lettering

Quoted Lettering

Quote the words you want in the image and describe the letters, such as red 3D type with a chrome edge. Keep it to one word or a short title for logos, single covers and merch mockups.

Krea 2 Use Cases

The Krea 2 AI image generator keeps one visual language across the frame, which fits projects where the look is the brief, like a release campaign. Eleven aspect ratios run from 9:16 stories to 2:1 banners.

An elderly woman in a knitted hood squints into the light, frost on her eyelashes.

Editorial Portraiture

Give the subject, the light and the crop, for example low winter sun and a tight frame on the eyes. Wrinkles, frost and wool hold up at full size, ready for magazine features and campaign moodboards.

A crowd of anime students in summer uniforms surrounds a boy raising his fist.

Anime and Cel Looks

Name the era and the technique, such as 1990s cel animation with flat shading. Krea 2 matches that period's linework, muted palette and character design, for key visuals, anime-style cover art and music video pitch boards.

A figure in an orange swim cap wades through mint-green waves under a pale peach sky.

Book and Editorial Illustration

Set the palette and the line, like flat mint green with fine black outlines. The image reads as the work of one illustrator, ready for magazine spots, picture books and brand campaigns.

A snowy mountain range cut into a grid of tiles that alternate with solid azure squares.

Collage Posters and Record Sleeves

Request a print method or a layout, such as a mid-century collage on a 12 by 16 grid with grainy paper. Krea 2 builds the arrangement and the paper texture at once, for gig posters, record sleeves and flyers.

A dark convertible climbs a winding cliff road above a sunlit ocean as white birds fly past.

Car and Travel Visuals

Put a car or a destination in a setting, then name the painting style, the hour and the camera height. The frames feed launch moodboards, travel campaigns and music video concepts before anyone scouts a location.

A harvest mouse grips a thin branch among green leaves against a soft green background.

Macro and Wildlife Photography

State the lens and the depth of field, for example a macro shot with smooth bokeh. Fur, whiskers and leaf edges stay crisp where the focus lands, for nature features and seasonal campaigns.

Made with Krea 2

The Krea 2 AI image generator jumps between photography, 3D renders, anime and painted illustration from prompt to prompt, and each look brings its own surface, from vinyl-toy sheen to stippled leaves.

A freckled face with one blue eye, wrapped in thin gold ribbons against a black background.
A red-striped tiger leaps over a wild boar among bright tropical flowers and palm trees.
A matte black designer toy in a backward cap and gold aviators, with white tiger and bird tattoos, on a blue background.
A jester in a belled hat and harlequin shorts lunges forward with a sword against a black background.
An anime girl in a white shirt looks over her shoulder, hair blowing, under a deep blue sky with power lines.
An amber jellyfish with ruffled blue tentacles drifts through dark water.
Two columns of rocket exhaust blast downward in an extreme close-up of a launch.
A tiny figure and a white dog sit in the shade of a huge stippled tree on a sunlit hill.

Krea 2 AI Image Generator FAQs

Common questions about the Krea 2 AI image generator on RapVid, covering the Turbo version we run, styles, text and credit cost.

It's Krea's first foundation image model, trained from scratch and announced in May 2026. Krea built it around style, so it handles grainy film, clean studio work, anime, digital painting and experimental looks rather than falling back on one glossy default. On RapVid we run Krea 2 Turbo, the fast version Krea also put out as open weights in June 2026, as a text to image model.

Krea 2 Turbo. It's an 8-step distilled build of Krea 2 that keeps as much of the full model's range as it can while running several times faster, and it renders natively between 1K and 2K. Krea recommends its larger Medium and Large tiers when exact style matching or final polish matters most, and those aren't available on RapVid. With Turbo, detail in the prompt pays off: each medium, light and composition cue narrows the result.

No. On RapVid, Krea 2 accepts text prompts only, so photos, sketches and style images can't go in. Put the look into words instead: the medium, the decade, the palette, the light and the lens. The more exact those words, the closer each image lands to your idea.

Go broad first, then narrow. A short prompt such as "a cat riding a bicycle" comes back as a mix of photography, illustration and 3D. When one direction clicks, add a style hint like "retro cartoon illustration" and run it again. Our tip: ask for four images per run while exploring, since range is one of Krea 2's strengths.

Yes, for short text. Quote the exact words, as Krea suggests, and describe the lettering, for example "Turbo" in red 3D letters with a chrome edge. Titles, logos and a word or two on a sign work best, which suits a single cover. For paragraphs or fine print, we'd set the copy in a design tool afterward.

There are two resolutions, 1K and 2K, and 11 aspect ratios: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 5:4, 4:5, 2:3, 3:2, 9:16, 16:9, 1:2 and 2:1. A run returns one to four images. We draft at 1K and move to 2K for anything going to print or release.
